Orchard Cottage This modern2 bedroom Cottage has gained four star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board. Situated within the walled garden area of our private grounds facing south/west and looking over to the pond area, Orchard Cottage has been designed to accommodate very comfortably assisted disabled visitors as well as able bodied. We have a newly completed sun- room extention, giving masses of extra living space, ideal for relaxing or entertaining family or friends. Entered off the Lounge it has a high vaulted oak ceiling and also a solid oak floor, windows all round to give maximum light and sun. Ground floor has a very high ceiling Lounge with an open coal and log fire, looking up to the Gallery area above at the top of the stairs, large fully fitted Kitchen/Dining with dishwasher, the patio door giving access to decking, equipped with outside seating and barbeque and to the front garden. We have secure private parking outside the cottage. Utility room with washer and dryer giving access to side and rear enclosed garden area. Twin Bedroom downstairs and a large Bathroom with separate shower. Upstairs has the Gallery area, Double Bedroom and En Suite Shower room. We can supply free of charge a cot and high chair, also a folding bed should this be required. Orchard Cottage has gas central heating throughout, which is included within our rates, as are all power, towels and linen. We are happy to have pets of any kind by prior arrangement. We normally book the cottage from Saturday to Saturday, arrival after 3.00pm and departure by 10.00am. We can take longer bookings of course, a discount can be offered for any booking longer than the normal period, subject to availability. We are open all year including Christmas and New Year, when we supply a tree and all that is required to make your stay special. We take short breaks during low season, being November to March, these usually run from Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday. We are happy to quote for any number of days however, just ask. Prices vary according to season but fully inclusive weekly rates start at around £350 rising to around £700, short break prices can be quoted and special offers may be available from time to time, please see our 'Special Offers' page relating to this.
