"The Mallard" is situated by our private pond and appropriately named after the many ducks who regularly visit. This two storey house is designed for maximum views over the pond, with a balcony from the first floor Lounge and Dining Room. All main living areas are on the first floor, with a large Dining/Kitchen, the Master Bedroom with King sized bed has Jack and Jill en-suite, can be entered from here or separately from the hall. We have a separate formal Dining Room, which can double up as an extra bedroom with the use of a bed- settee. All Main Rooms have solid oak flooring, the Lounge has a multi fuel burner, ideal for cold or wet days. "The Mallard" has full gas central heating, all costs for power, heating, linen and towels are included in our charge. Down the solid oak stairway, we have 2 further bedrooms, double and twin and a large bathroom with separate shower. We also have a Utility Room with separate shower room. Entrance to "The Mallard" has been designed so that on entering the Hallway you have several steps up and several down. When complete we will have photography added to our site, in the mean time, the floor layouts and elevations give an accurate idea of how "The Mallard" will look. The entrance turret is of stone, with Skye Marble walls and natural slate roof. Prices and availability will be added to our Tariff page when "The Mallard" becomes available for booking.
